How Tankless Works

A tank keeps 40 or 50 gallons hot all day. A tankless unit heats water as it runs through, so a long run of showers won't use it up. It hangs on the wall, frees up the floor where the tank stood, and lasts longer than a tank.

We install and service tankless units, gas and electric. We install A. O. Smith tankless water heaters.

Is Tankless Worth It for Your House?

Tankless is a bigger job up front than a tank swap. A gas unit needs its own venting and a gas line sized for it. An electric unit may need circuit work if the panel is tight. Joe looks at your house and how you use hot water and tells you if it's worth it. If a tank makes more sense, he'll say so. More on replacing a tank.

Hard Water and Tankless

Our water is hard, and the minerals build up as scale inside a tankless unit's heat exchanger. Flushing the unit to clear the scale keeps it running right, and hard water like ours calls for it more often. A water softener cuts the scale before it gets there.

Tankless Repair and Service

We repair and service tankless water heaters. If yours is acting up, text Joe a photo of the unit and any code on its display, and he'll tell you what he sees.

Common Questions

Will a tankless water heater run out of hot water?
No. It heats water as you use it. Each unit has a limit on how much hot water it makes at once, so it's sized to how many showers and faucets run at the same time.
Do you work on tankless units you didn't install?
Yes. Call or text Joe a photo of the unit and he'll tell you what it needs.
Is financing available?
Yes. We offer financing on bigger jobs. Ask Joe about it when you call.

“Joe is great to work with! We have used him twice now and his work is always professional and completes the job without issue. We had two water heaters and one gas line capped. Both excellent jobs!”
