Water Heater Repair, Installation and Replacement
Many water heater problems are cheap to fix: a failed heating element, a bad thermocouple, a stuck valve. A tank past its first decade and rusting from the inside usually isn't worth the money. Joe looks at the unit and tells you which one you have. If a repair will get you a few more years, he'll say so. If the tank is close to failing, he'll tell you before you spend anything. We install and service tank and tankless units, gas and electric. We set up proper venting, the expansion tank and drain pan, and seismic strapping where code requires it, and we haul off the old unit.

Our water in the Ozarks
Our water is hard, and that's what wears out water heaters here. Minerals settle in the tank as sediment and the burner has to heat through that crust. That's what makes the tank pop and rumble, and eventually something fails. If your unit has started making noise, read why your water heater sounds like popcorn, then decide what to do from there. Flushing the tank at least once a year, more often on hard water like ours, clears out sediment and extends its life. Treating the water keeps minerals from building up in the tank.
